Restorative treatments such as dental fillings, amputation, root canal treatment are applied in line with the depth of the caries and the child’s complaint.
If the tooth is so damaged that it cannot be treated, tooth extraction is performed. In teeth that are extracted or lost prematurely, placeholders are made, taking into account radiographic control and the age of the child. Placeholders prevent loss of space and provide guidance until the permanent tooth that will replace the milk tooth erupts.
