Our primary goal in conservative dentistry is to preserve the natural structure of the teeth while addressing damage in the most minimally invasive way possible. With early intervention, most procedures can be completed in a single session—often without the need for anesthesia.
Tooth-Colored Fillings
When oral hygiene is neglected, bacteria accumulate on the tooth surface and gradually break down the enamel. If left untreated, this process can reach the dentin or even the pulp, leading to persistent toothache and decay. Timely detection allows for intervention before extensive damage occurs. During treatment, decayed areas are carefully removed and replaced with composite filling materials that restore the tooth’s function and aesthetics. In many cases, this 20-minute procedure can be completed without the need for anesthesia.
Aesthetic Bonding
Bonding is a quick, non-invasive solution for patients seeking cosmetic improvements without committing to porcelain veneers. High-quality composite resins are used to reshape teeth, close gaps (diastema), and correct minor imperfections—especially in front teeth. These materials are color-matched to blend seamlessly with natural enamel, offering instant results in a single session. Bonding is a practical and affordable alternative for enhancing your smile.
Fissure Sealants
Some patients have naturally deep grooves and pits on the chewing surfaces of their molars, which can trap food and lead to decay. Fissure sealant application involves filling these areas with a protective, fluid resin that smooths the surface and prevents bacteria accumulation. This is a preventive treatment, especially beneficial for children and teenagers.
Cervical Restorations
Gum recession over time can expose the necks of the teeth, often resulting in increased sensitivity and surface wear—commonly due to aggressive brushing habits. Cervical restorations (also known as cervical fillings) involve applying a protective composite layer to these worn areas. The treatment is quick, taking approximately 15 minutes, and helps relieve sensitivity while preventing further abrasion.
