Patients Travelling from Abroad

Our patients from abroad fall into two groups: adults travelling for a specific treatment, and families who want to fit their child's or their own check-up into a holiday. In both cases the calendar is short, so planning starts before the journey does.

Step by step

1. Writing before you arrive

Write to us once your travel dates are settled. If you have them, please share your most recent panoramic X-ray, a record of previous treatment and a daylight photograph of the area that worries you. We say from the outset that this is not an examination: what is visible remotely can differ from what is visible in the mouth. The purpose is not diagnosis but the right timetable.

2. Building the timetable

We say plainly how many visits each treatment needs and how long the waits between them are:

• Check-up, scaling, fillings, whitening: one trip, usually finished in two or three days.
• Veneers, zirconia crowns, root canals: there is laboratory time between impression and fitting, so a stay of five to seven days is needed.
• Implants: 2–4 months of bone healing separate the surgery from the porcelain crown. That means either two separate trips, or the crown being made by your dentist at home; we discuss which suits you from the start.

We give the first appointment for the day after you arrive, not the day itself; a travel-day appointment almost always goes badly.

3. Day one: examination and plan

The first day is spent on examination, an X-ray or CT scan if needed, and putting the plan in writing. For families, the child's appointment is planned for the same day in the children's section, with the paediatric dentist.

4. After you return

When treatment is complete we hand over a summary file listing what was done, the materials used and the aftercare instructions; your dentist at home can see exactly what took place. Where useful, we continue check-ups online.

What you should know

Medical history. Bring reports, in your own language, for medications, allergies and chronic conditions; they are decisive for anaesthetic and medicine decisions.

Children. The person with custody needs to attend a child's appointment. If the child comes with another relative, written consent from the guardian and their contact details must be available.

Cost. Health advertising rules in Türkiye do not permit prices to be published online. The cost of the plan is given to you individually, in writing, after the examination.

Accommodation and getting here. The clinic is in Caddebostan, within walking distance of the Kadıköy seafront. We do not arrange accommodation or travel; we set appointment times around your flights.

Language. Tell us in which language you would prefer to communicate, and we will arrange accordingly.
